So just as I am deciding to retire getting hit right and left. New dryer, Dog vet, Have to get 2 crowns and filling and now hot tub out. They think could be mother board. Pump just turning off and on. Shit! Not even one week in the year. Also my brother really having tough time with my mother. She has alzheimer. Can't remeber who he is or where she is. Now stopped eating. He went trhough this with my dad. He has spent his whole retirement taking care of parents. They live in Fl so I not any help. Had 3 trips canceled now due to virus. Time for a drink!

That reason I do long fast every month. Your body does something called autophagy during these fast and supposedly greatly reduces the chances of alzheimer.

Hope all gets better. I'm right there with you. I've not had steady running water or propane heat, since the beginning of Nov. Its bottled water, the wood stove and small electric heaters in the bedrooms. We primed the pump and managed to get some water flowing to find out the water heat kicked the bucket. You have all my understanding and sympathy...JJ

2 friends had their wife's in severe Alzheimer's and dementia for years.
One described it as the "living death". Sadly that means for both.

Where abouts is your brother in FL? Maybe someone in their area would volunteer to make something for them? Unfortunately I'm in MN otherwise I would love to help out!
