UtahJarhead here.  I eat meat.  My family likes meat whether they like it or not.

I kid...

Bought a house a year ago and when I did, a friend gave me his old Masterbuilt smoker since he'd gotten a Traeger.  It's about 36" tall.  24" wide or so.  It does great for what I use it for.  I can cook a good brisket or so.  Pork is my favorite so far, particularly a butt.  I like a good brown sugar based rub.  A little paprika, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powders, cumin, and a little cayenne.  I suck at poultry items.  They just turn rubbery on me and not tasty.

I need to add charcoal and whatnot to get any kind of smoke ring, so I'm looking to move into a combustion based smoker soon.  The Chargriller duo looks ideal.  One propane, one charcoal.  Add a pipe between the two with a 120mm fan.  Use the propane for the heat, use the charcoal for the smoke generation.

It sounds good in my head, anyway.

Anyhow, I'm a dad to 1.5, scout leader, and someone with a yard that likes having people taste good food.  Everybody eats and everybody likes tasty food.  I live in Northern Utah and while I won't have much to add at the start, I'm sure I'll figure out a bit more as time goes on.
