Has any one tried using pellets in a MES instead of wood chips?

I have not tried yet but if it works then I don't have to buy both, cause I no chips will not work in the Traeger

I have pellets that I use in my tin can cold smoke generator. They will smoke very well in a MES. I prefer chunks in the MES because they last longer and don't over smoke like chips and pellets can sometimes do.
