I picked up Walton’s sweet Chipotle jerky seasoning and it was a big hit with everyone. I would like to use this seasoning to make snack sticks instead of jerky. Has anyone used jerky seasons to make snack sticks? If you have do you need to increase the amount you use per pound of meat? The amount of cure #1 I’ll use will be based on the amount of ground meat I use. Thanks.

Use it the same... I use Italian Hot Sausage seasoning to make salami... Just because they call it "something" doesn't mean it can't flavor something else..

Personally I think it's the best salami I have ever eaten...

There is a local store here that sells as seasoning mix for jerky and a mix for sausage but the jerky mix is almost twice as expensive. For the heck of it I bought a mixture of both and gave it to the girls working in the lab department. Chemically they both are identical to within 98% and the ingredients are the same. The 2% variance is probably just the tolerance in the initial mixing of the ingredients.
