So found an ad on Facebook that advertised some wood for smoking that were barrels used for aging liquors. Some were bourban some were ales.
Ended up buying one that was used to age an age called something ale.
Well just got done eating n omg! This wood was awesome. Perfect smoke. Was subtle with a little bit of sweetness.

4 bucks a pound minimum 5. So 20 bucks for 5 pounds. So little expensive but very worth it! Just had to share
