I grew up in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to South Carolina about 6 years ago.

I have been grilling, and campfire cooking since the early 1980's.

Recently I have taken up smoking meats, and some other stuff in a small horizontal smoker with a side firebox.

Several Hams, a few chickens, a turkey, beef cubes seasoned like Jerky, and hard smoked eggs.

Even more recently I have begun using a big Cantonese wok on an adjustable Propane burner.

So far i have made french fries, shrimp fried rice, several breakfasts involving Green peppers Scallions and eggs and even some falafels.

I really enjoy cooking outdoors, since my wife doesn't like me wrecking her kitchen too often.
