Up Early in So Cal

I am a newbie at smoking, but I think my wife created a monster with it.  She got me the Master Built XL for x-mas and today is the 2nd smoke.  Smoking a brisket and 4 racks of ribs.  I live in a small town in Southern Cali, Calimesa.  Love to BBQ now that I have a normal schedule.  I lived here my entire life, minus for years in Vegas attending UNLV,  GO REBELS!

I am still trying to figure out who is happier with me up at this dark hour, the wife, or two dogs that took over my spot on the bed.  Hope every one has a safe super bowl sunday.

Soon enough, those dogs will learn that when daddy gets up to leave early to go outside, there is something yummy he is working on - they'll be following you instead of taking your spot in bed!

First off welcome Heusty to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are alot of really good folks that would just love to help you with anything to do with smoking. Now we like having new folks here to give a new prospective on some of the ways we do things around here.
