UDS Charcoal Start Up

I've been wondering how much charcoal is needed to do a 12 to 14 hour cook on the UDS.  Also how much prelit charcoal is needed when first starting the basket up.  Thanks.

I fill my charcoal basket for longer smokes. Takes the better part of a 18 pound bag of Kingsford. I don't use lit coals I use my weed burner to light a small area. Put the lid on and start adjusting the valves until I get to the temp I want.
