UDS and Pellets

I got a huge bag of pellets for Christmas... I smoke with a homemade UDS. How do I go about using these with this type of smoker? Can I just add them with the charcoal briquettes? Do I need to buy the pellet smoker tube? Thanks for any help you all can offer.

You need a tube,tray or even make shift something you can burn them in. Adding them to burning charcoal will not provide much benefit and you'd have to literally keep throwing them in. I highly suggest the 12" Amazen tube.
