For those of you who have traveled US-69 through eastern Oklahoma, you've probably seen these road signs along your way.  Located around a prison just outside Atoka, I'd driven past it countless times previously, but it didn't really register until this last trip.  It told me 2 things:

1.  It doesn't speak very highly of the guard staff, charged with taking care of their "guests".

2.  I don't want to be hunting anywhere near there, dressed in full blaze orange.

Those and similar signs are also posted around the two prisons in my area.

Another lawyer driven warning sort of like "This coffee may be hot"!

Dad said never pick-up hitchhikers...Unless she is really HOT!......JJ

We have those here in CO also.  Says something to the gist of ' there is a correctional facility right here...don't pick up any hitchhikers'

I saw a sign driving through Colorado in the middle of the night only thing visible was rock, it read in case of flood climb to safety. It's funny we have signs like that around a couple prisons but the closest one, that's had a few escapes has no signs.
