$13 each! Where is this market? That is an incredible deal, unless it is select. Being part of the sirloin, Tri-Tip can be chewy if it is not choice or better.

I only know of Gordons Food here in FL. Dont know if they are in other states.

Lucky had them bogo in SF Bay Area. $8.99/lb so really $4.50/lb. I thought about it but passed.

At that price they had to be select grade. Personally, I would not buy Tri-Tip that is select. Too chewy.

Not sure their butcher shop could answer that. Asked about plate ribs and they had never heard of them.
