My wife has been asking for a tri tip for a few weeks. I was able to get one from the local meat store. The problem was I have been craving wings. Decided to cook both on the Weber.

Seasoned the wings with famous Dave’s chicken rub, and the tri tip with SPOG and a little hardcore carnivore and let them sit in the fridge for a couple hours.

the. Tossed them on the grill with a small chunk of mesquite. I seared the tri tip first then moved it over and put on the wings to cook.

tossed on some corn on the cob, we’re eating as much as we can of it before it stops selling for the winter.

pulled the tri tip when it hit 138* bit carried over a little more than I would have liked. But here are the finished pics.

thanks for looking

Thanks guys. The tritip was good, I like tri tip but for me I have to have the chimichurri sauce with it. I’ve been using Frank’s, butter and utopian salad dressing lately on my wings and really liking it. The Italian added gives it really good flavor.
