Thinking of buying a Traeger tailgate smoker from a guy for $250, said it's a year old and he got a bigger one,any thoughts if it's a decent buy?.I all ready have a propane smoker,been wanting to get a pellet smoker .Thanks

I would spend the extra $50 and get a Pit Boss Tailgater for $300. It comes with a 5 year warranty.

Walmart never updated their website.. I believe Walmart has their own warranty separate from Pit Boss... I could be wrong about that, but Pit Boss’s warranty is now 5 years as of September 2018...

Well I ended up getting a Traeger TFB52QPB from a different guy it was bigger than the tailgate model supposed to be around 3years old,it looks like it was taken care of very well and I only have $225 invested.It also had a new 2probe controller installed on it,I can't wait to try it.
