Hello from Australia I'm about to build a traditional offset smoker with a collector and stack at tray hight. The dimensions I was looking at doing is 24" x 51.5" cc 20" x 27.5" fb. Now my problem is that I'm a bit confused with the rest. Most of all I see on here and feldons calculator really seems to contradict what I see big offset smoker builders like fatstack smokers, moberg smokers and even franklin's. They seem to run collectors and stacks from tray level and over sized and tall stacks but I cant find how they work it out. I want to run a collector and a 5" stack that is higher then eye level, where all the calculations are really sort like 25" at best please help haha
