I just got this puppy, and I'm waiting for the UV kit to get here so I can grow year round. Arugula, Chard, and some herbs for starters. Any help on these things would be GREATLY appreciated. I don't exactly have a green thumb.

Can't help. But, I've been pretty interested in these. I'll be watching. I saw one that had the UV lights built onto the stand which got my attention.

I don't have one of those , but it looks cool . I will say that last Christmas we ended up with 3 Aero gardens . The harvest model . 6 holes . 2 of them have been shut down . I went down to just jalapenos in mine . I picked 6 last week and it has 6 more peppers ready .
I transferred the Basil to pots and have that growing by a window .

Not sure how that will be , but the Aero garden produced big time . I should have kept the stuff trimmed back . I bought some herb savers , and some spice tins . I have a bunch of dried herbs . The savers kept the cut stuff fresh for a good while , and actually promoted root growth from cuttings .
I had so much I can't use it all . So I shut down 2 of the gardens and just have one Jalapeno in mine .

I need to get them started back up . Alot of the stuff is more suited for winter cooking for use . This time I'll only do 3 holes in each . Maybe 4 . As long as I keep getting peppers I'll let that one ride .

So not based on the setup you have , but maybe a heads up on what to look for when yours gets going .
Keep us posted . Looks interesting .

I forgot to say I've been picking peppers since last Feb .

From what I have heard, the lights have to be very close to the plants, so if they are built into the stand, that seems like a perfect setup. If the lights are strong enough.

Looks interesting. My problem is that the ONLY window that get direct sunlight is in our bedroom, so I would have to get a uv light.

That's my problem as well. Also the growing season at my house is maybe 5 or six months because of sunlight issues. Reason for the UV kit.
