I have never been so happy to see the lights come on.. I just saw the electric company go down the road and within 10 minutes the lights are on and my wifi is in operation.

Man.. I would not have made it as a pioneer.

A few downed trees and my creek has overflown it's banks by about 2 feet but other than that, we are safe and sound and untouched by mama nature.

You other Oklahomans unscathed?

Amen! Glad to hear you are all safe and in one piece!

On the plus side a WSM doesn't need electricity to cook great grub! So dinner is on no matter what the power does.

Very true.. my WSM is safe and sound. The rest of my patio looks like it might need some cleanup. I am so glad I kept my priorities straight in the wake of this storm.

My wife was worried about putting the vehicles in the barn to protect them from hail but all I could think about was getting my WSM in out of the storm.

As you can see.. her and I don't always see eye to eye on what's really important

Just remind her the vehicles are covered by insurance that will pay to fix them... the WSM is not!

Course she may not see it in those terms... lol.

I was going to offer testing the new forum with a blackberry, but I am sure that will be on your tasks list to make sure its BB friendly.

There are just those times you need to get your fill of SMF.

lol, at least you have your priorities straight!

With all of the twisters that touched down yesterday, I'm glad to see that the damage was minimal.
