Gonna make me tell it again .
10 years old on vacation in Kentucky . My Dad took me out to breakfast for country ham and gravy .
I'll never ever forget that salty , smokey goodness .
Never made the red eye . Be interested in your method .

I let ham pieces to crust up the pan. add smidge of butter and a couple shakes of Wondra. crank heat, the add cup of black coffee stirring.

Red eye gravy is interesting. I've had it a few times and still can't figure out if I like it or not
