To Marinate it or Not Marinate, this is my question :)

Hi everyone! So I have successfully cured (and devoured) bacon I am now moving on to pork ribs for my second smoking adventure.

I have everything ready from the ribs to the sauce I made as well as the rub recipe I want to use.

I'm heading out of town tomorrow and will come back Sunday and want to start smoking it right away. Do I have to marinate or it would be fine? If I am really need to marinated can I put it in tonight or will it be too much to marinated between now and Sunday?

Marinate ribs?  Umm...OK?   I have never soaked the ribs in sauce before cooking.  

For ribs I start the smoker, rub the rub on, toss ribs in smoker.  No pre-planning required - short of getting the ribs!
 
I've never marinated Ribs.

Rub it, cook it, sauce it, cook a little more, eat it.

Search the 3-2-1 method here on the forums for ribs, great stuff!!!
 
Some things just don't need marinating----Just Keep it simple. I might marinate and or brine some things that need help, like Chicken Breasts or Pork Loin, but Ribs need some Rub, as do Pork Butts, but I wouldn't want to make things sweet or add salinity to Ribs or Butts. Just some Rub & Smoke it. IMHO
