A 5 gallon corny keg is pretty standard in size. Just measured one of mine, 8.5" in diameter and 25" tall, but keep in mind you'll need a few inches clearance for your quick-connects and lines. They do make smaller 3 gallon ones if space is an issue but they are much more difficult to find used, atleast around here.I figured it would be, that store is very proud of their products.
Luckily, I already have a mini refer that I think will work size wise. I need to find the measurements of those corny kegs, do you know if they are all typical in size? I'm hoping to be able to fit two corny's in the refer, 1 white wine for my wife and her friends, and 1 either a cocktail or a good beer. Our hot tub butt's up to our deck, and I want to be able to fill our glasses from both the hot tub and the deck, as we spend most of our time out there from April to Oct.
Thanks a bunch for your help, I really appreciate it.
Dan
Edit: I'd also suggest against wine in a keg unless your wife doesn't mind a bit of fizz to it. Even at low pressure it will start to absorb the co2 at some point and become carbonated. Ask me how I know, lol.
