Is the Alpha Smoke Controller from the Grilla Grills? In the PID mode what is the lowest temperature?
Well I gave her a one hour run with the control turned all the way down, 180*. It was running a solid 205* on the control sensor with the dome therm reading 195*. Now this is in my 820D which is 3" longer than the Silverback and I have not done the "fine tuning" to the Alpha Dual controller yet. During my normal cooks, I only use the PID function for finishing butts and things like mac n cheese au-gratin taters and pizza and it's been running a solid +5*. . I haven't called Mark at Grilla Grills to get the fine tuning instructions. That's close enough for me.
