Does anybody know if the till foodsavers are the same as the foodsavers you can buy at walmart? i found this one and it says it has a continous duty cycle, so it doesnt need to cool off.http://www.pleasanthillgrain.com/tilia_food_saver_vacuum.aspx

I am looking to find a decent vacum sealer for lots of fish for my salmon fishing trip next year.

thanks for the help!

Tilla (Tilia) is the parent company. The units are the same. Here is FoodSavers web site for that unit...http://www.foodsaver.com/product.aspx?pid=8059

I would not trust the Continuous Sealing claim. If you go to the above link  and read the reviews you will find many of the bad reviews are based on overheating after 10-20 seals. I have the V2840 and as long as you take your time there is no issue with overheating at all...JJ
