Got my parents in town for a visit to see the grandson and they requested some good bbq.  All I had to say was ribs and it was on.

I had one rack of babybacks in the freezer and got one rack of st. louis at the store.

All rubbed up with love and into the fridge for a few hours.

Pulled from the fridge at 11 am while the smoker comes to temp.

Into the MES 30 @230 for a little 3-2-1/2-2-1

St. Louis was put on at noon, been in for 1 hour, loading up the BB.

Using a mix of Hickory, oak and apple.

More q view to come.

Thanks, can't wait to eat the finished product.

In the mean time I think I will finish off the left over tri tip I smoked last night.

Yummy....we are having leftovers too...but I like yours better!

If you keep feeding 'em like this, they will never leave! You are spoiling 'em!

Gotta make up for all the crap I gave'em as a kid.

Now that the food coma has passed I can post the final pics

All cooked up ready to eat.

Somehow there are still left overs but that's always a bonus.  Came out great and enjoyed by all.

Outstanding ribs my friend. And not an easy execution because of the two different cuts. Awesome!

Thanks all, first time smoking both cuts at the same time.  Figured I would give the St. Louis rack an hour head start worked out great.

Those are fine looking ribs. If you invite family for meals, have you thought about adopting a fat, Canadian cousin?
