Just me and my oldest home tonight and decided we wanted to do something different. We had a flat-iron steak in the fridge, so decided to build off that. Steak ramen was the kiddo's final decision, so that's what we made. Made the sauce for the ramen with 2 egg yolks, the seasoning packs from 2 packs of roast beef ramen, a quarter cup of kewpie mayo, and a teaspoon of roasted jarlic. Made 2 bricks of the ramen noodles, drained the water except for about 1.5 cups which got added to the sauce base with the noodles. Grilled the steak, steamed some potstickers, soft boiled and egg and voila, dinner. Topped with chili crisp oil and scallions.

So freakin' good and a nice change from our typical dinners.

Looks incredible and very creative. I'm not a huge noodle guy but I'd destroy that.

That's a good throw together dinner. We did much the same thing on Thursday, but no pictures so it didn't happen. Right? Nice work. Looks like the eggs were soaked in soy sauce?

Yeah, the eggs got a 10 min soak while the steak cooked. Didn't add much in terms of flavor, just color.
