Think I found a nice little side hustle.

Oh, and I'm looking at the palm routers too. I like the idea of them being more compact. Can you get me the model number of yours?
The one I have is GFK125CE . It's a workhorse for the size. Variable speed . Micro adjust . Lighted base . I have 4 or 5 full size routers , but use that Bosch the most .

Thank you! Now that we're empty nesters. I have time to dabble in this and camping. I've always enjoyed woodworking. I hope I don't tire of it!

I'm good for about 6 - 9 months with any hobby/craft until I basically burn myself out and run out of stuff I want to make, then it's off YT to see what else I can get into.

My #1 rule when choosing a new hobby/craft is I MUST be able to produce something that's USEFUL, so I WILL circle back to it as needed.

You wouldn't believe the number of "skills" I've learned (and the $$$ I've spent!) JUST so I can make "a thing", but I do love the process!

SherryT SherryT I will add this just so you can explore what they have to offer. The Lumber Shack has a lot of live edge and other fine woods of various species that I have found to be way cheaper than others in the same category with free shipping. I have bought about 10 things from them over the years from the small live edge cedar boards I posted earlier to 4" x 5' x 22' huge live edge slabs.

I am not suggesting you get out your credit card but just have fun browsing what they have to sell. Every individual item has a few pictures to show exactly what it looks like. Some days when I am bored I like to just look thru their inventory and imagine what I could make.

They also have lots of times where they sell at a discount.

Guilty.......! LOL!!

The cutting board with the cheese slicer sold in a few hours on facebook. So, I just put this together. It's bigger at 12x17. Gives more room for the sliced cheeses and sausages! ;)

Looks great Steve! We have one that's not that big but we love it for slicing cheese!

That looks really nice! What do you clean it with and maintain it with?
Kept treated with butcher block conditioner. I use Howards. You just wipe it down with a dish rag with warm water. And dry well. Never soak it. I put three coats of Howards initially. Then just apply once a month or so if needed. If a drop of water doesn't bead up. Then it needs treatment.
