I purchased a 4-probe (wire connected T25 I believe) and I have had problem after problem. Bad probes, bad units, bad batteries, etc. Each time i call, ThermPro sends me a brand new unit in the box. I have 3 full units now and I an about out of options for mixing and matching parts to keep one unit running. I should have spent a bit more and bought aomwthing else.

Don't take this the wrong way but you start a thread and bash a product and you had it replaced twice so that you have three full units but you're not even sure of the product's model number?

I won't take it the wrong way at all. I just did not have my glasses on at the time.... TP25. Will instant recall of the exact model number help it to work as advertised for my hard earned dollar?

Of course not but at least be precise so that others know what product you're referring to before you post a review. When you post a review particularly a negative one with several misspelled words including model numbers it comes across as nothing more than product bashing.

May I please be forgiven for sitting in the sun without my glasses and having two fat thumbs. Never mind.......

That's not the point. I can't help it that you decided to post a review in the sun without your glasses on and made mistakes in your review.

Another great thread... mods please delete my account and I will move on to where a few misspelled words about a faulty product does not offend the masses. May you all have a great evening. And please, delete my account.

Works as great as the day I bought it. I did replace some sensors (my fault). The weight of my heavy duty smoker door pinched the wires. I learned and fixed it. That was my fault so I bought replacements on my own.

I have diff thermo BUT was aware of pinching issues. First thing I did was cut a groove in the top rim for the wires to snake out when the lid is on.

When cutting, make sure it's on the side where the remote will sit :emoji_wink:

TP25 and TP29 here. Zero issues with either. Also run the TP Lightning pen therm, all very accurate and 100% dependable.

I did one better and installed a probe port on either side of the smoker.

Its_RAW, have you asked them if the ones that have been sent to you are from the same batch? Ask if they switched manufacturers on some parts. They might have a bad batch. That happens now days. I can feel your frustration. I hope it works out. Good smok'n.
