Here's a question for the SnP owners or CG for that matter. Unlike most thermo's that come with these smokers are a real dud, but on this one it was within 10 degrees of what an oven thermo said inside at the same location. Lately it has been really going downhill. I use an oven thermo at each end inside but that is a pain.
I'd like to install 3 new thermo's on the outside but really don't know what type or size for this unit. I was looking at some you could calibrate yourself but they required a 13/16 hole for mounting. What do you guys use with your smokers?
