Weber Genesis Gas Grill Does Not Ignite

Hello, I have been using my Weber for a few years and the other day 1 out of the 3 burners did not ignite. I only hear the ignite clicks.
I took out the burner and inspected it and cleaned it lightly but I see no issues and I do not think it is the burner because it ignites with a lighter. The cables that connect to the burner also looks good.
Has anyone had this problem and know what it could be?

I would pull all the deflectors, clean everything, make sure everything is seated correctly.

Maybe check where the gas shoots into the burner, see if there is anything reducing flow?

I have a Genesis, one burner lights slower, but it will eventually light. Its at least 15-20 years old tho.

If you're getting gas to the burner to manually light it , the valve and the flow must be OK .

If you're hearing the ignition but it's not igniting , maybe it's cracked ( the igniter ) at that burner rail and sparking before the tube .

Is this maybe the far right ( last in line ) burner ?
I've tried to light it with no luck . Shut the gas off , then back on and it lights .

Do like said above and take everything out and function the igniter and see where you see the spark at the first burner .

I had dis-assembled my Weber Spirit to clean it last week and ended up with a problem lighting the left burner (the only one with an igniter).

After reading this post, I went out and looked again.
I removed the igniter assembly and took a small wirebrush and cleaned the burner tube and the igniter, both the probe and the base.

When I put the assembly back in place, I pushed on it a little harder and it "popped" into place, further than before, and the spark looks and sounds stronger than before.

It lights like a dream now.

I just did the burners in my Genesis . It takes way more pressure to get the ignites in than I thought it would . I was worried about breaking something .

Thanks guys! I just used a wire brush and cleaned the tip of the igniter and works perfectly. It must have been dirty with grease.
