I am looking for a good meat thermometer and I am leaning towards the Thermoworks line.  I have noticed that a lot of people on the forum like the thermowand.  I am leaning like the price of the thermopop.   Any help or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.  I found this video.

I have the thermowand and I find it to be just as accurate and quick as the thermopop and at a more reasonable price. I also have River Country gauges on my smoker instead of Tel-Tru. I find them to be very accurate and also much more reasonable. I'm definitely not into brand names as much as quality. Good luck, Joe

The Thermowand is great!  I have several single probe digital remote therms under $16ea.  that have alarms and are back lit etc.  If they pass the boil test, I don't care who makes it.  I have never ever had a probe problem and I periodically calibrate them.  I don't know what the deal is with the Maverick probe dilemmas I continuously hear about.  I can set my own temps on all my therms and there has to be a failure before I look into the Mav ET-732, 733, or 735.  I don't have a problem having a single probe with it's own transmitter/receiver.  Especially when I can get four for $48 at Aldi.

I own a CDN ProAccurate Folding Thermocouple thermometer and I bought the wife a ThermoPop. The CDN is another ThermoWorks clone but I like it a lot and the wife really likes her ThermoPop.
