Hello again all. I signed up for a new account because I've not been on in a while, I couldn't remember my credentials and for some reason the forgot password link wouldn't recognize my new password. But anyhow, I used to live in a small town in North Carolina called Southport. My first bbq memories were from a restaurant called The Pines. This was in the 60s. I think The Pines closed in the 70s or early 80s. Anyh6, I've been trying for years to duplicate their bbq. It was definitely vinegar based. I can't seem to nail it. The closest I found, believe it or not, was a Pig Sandwich at Hard Rock Cafe. I had it in 03 or 04 at the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. I wasn't into smoking then, so I never inquired about it. They have changed that recipe now and it is not available anymore. Are any of you familiar with The Pines Restaurant or The Hard Rock Pig Sandwich? Thank in advance for any help/clues.
