Bingo, leftovers!

Last night for dinner I only sliced what we ate so tonight I cut it cold then spread it over double layer of foil the drizzled the left over glaze and mop water mix. Then in the oven at 350 for 16 min or so, wrapped up tight. The results were yum! Added a corn bread muffin cause the wife is saving the focaccia for dressing News Year Eve.

Thanks RAY, Oh yea you called couch alright......the left over meal was the only meal of the day for me and it still about did me in....still not hungry and its lunch time the day after.....but that still didn't stop me from prepping for tonight's smoke....the final of 2019......it is going to be a simple rack of pork :-)

WOW! Civil looks like cooking great food runs in the family....

@ very nice meals, tell all the cooks they did a great job.

Great BIG Like!

Thanks John! My daughter didn't have much desire to do elegant cooking till she went off to school and she quickly realized if she wanted to eat like at home she was going to have to do it herself.....funny how that happens!

Yes, a very fine looking cook there. Your daughter also has some great talent.

Thanks Winter! I always stress when doing brisket so its a huge relief when they come out better than the desired results! My daughter spent many a year as a "prep" cook in our kitchen.....she actually got tired of hearing "you have to know how to prep it to cook it" I'm just glad something her dad said actually "sunk in".....LOL. Funny thing is I'm not a baker and didn't teach her any of that stuff.....she has learned all that from personal study...

Johnny, that is just tooooooo funny there! I will confess I did like the plate a bit after......

Holy cow that looks amazing! I've never seen just the point sold by itself but IMO that's the best part of the packer! Hell of some desserts as well! Nice job

SmokinVOL many thanks. Yea my son wanted brisket and all I was finding was a full deal and I didn't want to deal with it so out of just happen stance a vac pack caught my eye "when I wasn't looking for meat" so I said I'll go take a look......I thought it was tri tip from a distance but when I saw it was just a point cut, it was like fate! It was actually a lot nicer dealing with because of the uniformity, so it made for a much better cook.....and it is my fav part any way!

Sounds nice, I'm looking forward to doing one of those on my SQ36 when I can find one, ain't easy to come by around here. I'll be on my second night of leftover prime. It's not easy, but somebody's gotta do it. RAY

Thanks Robert! This is how our family “rolls” lol! The square plates are a new item for us and this was our first use of them. I’m liking them!!!

PS your up pretty early this 2020 am.....

Yes just beautiful. I'm gonna have to get new plates and stop taking photos on paper plates......
What a great looking meal and the brisket looks awesome.

Yea second day prime pretty tough duty there!

Rack of Pork is worth the hunt. It just started popped up in our Costco’s and it flies off the shelf. I’m currently mentoring a client as a new smoker (he doesn’t even have a proper gas grill, or charcoal) and the rack of pork is one of the first smokes I had him do for his fam. His wife stated that she thought the money they spent on their new pellet grill was well spent after this smoke. I feel like a proud papa....this was his 3rd ever smoke!
