Just got home not that long ago from spending an evening out with Mrs. Solaryellow snapping pics around Winston-Salem, NC. In the 6 years I have lived down here, this is the first December snow we have experienced locally. It happens all the time in the mountains but this is unusual. I guess the globals need more warming. 6" are already on the ground at our house.

Now those are some really cool pictures Joel. Now thats the way I like to see snow IN PICTURES and not in my yard.

More pics!

It was so fun to be out tonight. Amazing how many people forget how to drive.

Not the first car we saw going off into the ditch, but the big SUV heading toward the one in the ditch was a good enough moment that we had to catch it.

Eventually, they backed it up the entrance ramp and after a couple of tries it got a good running start and made it up.

Ugh, I'm feeling, and getting, that right now.
You are so right, amazing how bad people get about driving, enough if it is a light flurry and the roads are perfect, and I thought it was just in my town

Nice Pictures, I'm just glad I don't have to drive a Truck in that crap anymore...
