Beautiful rifle!
M1 carbine trivia...Plainfield Machine in NJ was also a manufacturer of M1 carbines. During the Plainfield riots of 1967. Plainfield Machine was broken into and a bunch of M1 carbines were stolen. The rational response for.the state would have been to track down the thieves and as many of the stolen guns as possible, but that seemed hard, so NJ instead chose to ban the M1 carbine by name, and force all legal owners of such to turn them in or otherwise dispose of them--none were grandfathered, no compensation was offered. They didn't say if their efforts to sweep up untold thousands of legal carbines also resulted in stolen ones being turned in...one suspects not. To this day, M1 carbines remain illegal in NJ. I'm so glad I moved back to Idaho!

My younger son bought me a Fathers Day present that has quite possibly brought me more smiles and fun than any present other than our children themselves.

He bought himself and I Super Safeties, aka Forced Reset Triggers.
Technically according to federal law and recent federal lawsuit findings, these are 'Semiautomatic' triggers. One pull of the trigger for each round fired.

In reality, these are full automatic, and I fully expect a future congress to re-write the laws and outlaw these.

But meanwhile, lets have some responsible and lawful fun!

My friend has 1500+ acres we can go raise hell on and engage in all sorts of shenanigans, without endangering anyone but ourselves.

Which leads to some fun times, like playing Redneck Door Gunner.

Jealous! It legal to shoot on our property, but the neighbors would likely hate me even more and the wife gave it a bit no : (

Sweet Score!

I've one too, great PCCs.
And a lot of fun to shoot too.

Have a 10/22 set up as an M1 replica for fun.
