Smoking 232 pounds of butt for my kids 4-H shooting sports group. Seasoned with SPOG. Started some KBB and adding maple splits as need to keep the temp between 225 and 275. Going to pull all of it when it's done tonight, then into the freezer until the fundraiser next weekend. I couldn't get all of it into the big Barrell smoker, so there is some in the refrigerator smoker too.

Thanks for the good wishes and points, butts are between 155 and 165 degrees. I'll load more pics later

Put on a pot of coffee, it may be rather late when shredding time rolls around.

Save the bones and any extremely hard bark that you don't want in the pulled pork. You can make a serious Broth with that stuff!

I sure hope you have help with the shredding. Also looking forward to seeing the end product.

Chris

Sorry, for the delay and lack of a few pictures, it was a late night. Finished about midnight, ended with 125# of meat after shredding. This will go to the 4-H group to sell at the fairgrounds for a fundraising event.

That's a butt load of butts...
Nice job...kudos for supporting the kids.
Thought I had a pretty big bunch going next week...about 70 pounds for a fundraiser going for a lung transplant patient...next to you I'm small taters....
Good luck at the event.
