Hello,
Newbie question
I did a search and found a couple of post on these smokers. I PM a person here on the forum to see if he still thought it was a good investment. I still not heard back from them. So I would ask everyone that sees this. I checked out their website and from the pictures they look really well built but you know pictures can be decieveing.this would be my very first smoker. I am currently raising a hog so I need a big smoker. That is why I am not going to a Webber somky mountain smoker. So I can't physically touch it and look at it with my own Eyes. It will be a blind Faith if I buy it. On the warranty page is a little tricky to understand about the fire box( outside of it) I will have to call them to get a better understanding of it. So if any of you that own these smokers I would like your feed back on them and customer service for warranty. Thanks Karl

Karl,

I know nothing about Texas Pit Crafter smokers.  Since you are in the State of Jefferson (NE California, SE Oregon), have you checked out fabricators in California?  California Custom Smokers is in Visalia.  KAT smokers is also in the central part of California.  With a phone call and a few hours drive, you could make a hands on decision.

If you've already checked them out, as Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "Never mind."

Ray
