Traeger graciously replaced my Tabletop of 3 yrs with a new Scout. (As I RV fulltime, it's the perfect size). My problem is I can't get the temperature to stabilize. I let it smoke until it settles, (about 10 min +-). Then set temp to let's say 225, and that's when the problem starts. Temp goes to say 450, then back to say 175. It continues doing this and never settles down. I've checked for dry pellets and have cleaned it totally twice trying to determine the problem.
After I got the unit, I "burned" it in as recommended, no problems. But, couldn't get temp to stabilize when cooking. Traeger sent a new digital display unit. Installed, and same issue.
Now what? Help. TIA

Sounds like another call to Traeger is in order.

You should check out the following link as your unit maybe included in the recall.

You may need a new unit all together. That’s insane and if they don’t fix it I’d be turned off by Traeger for good.
