Ive been a huge fan of the Maverick Thermo Systems for many years. One thing most of us know is that it’s weak point is the short distance that the 2 transmitters will communicate with each other. If you have your smoker away from the house, like I do, and you decide to go in and watch the game you just might lose communication.
The Tappecue takes this issue away by transmission over the internet. You can be anywhere and keep an eye on Sunday dinner by your smart phone. The kids gave me one for Christmas. My first use is this weekend. So far it’s proven to be easy to use, accurate and fun.
