T-Bone Grilled on New “Ninja “Toy
I got this Toy for Christmas—It’s The “Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill”.
The controls are a little confusing, because you can Grill with a Probe “Smart”, or without a probe.
With or without the Probe calls for different settings & readings, so Bear with me for awhile.
You can also Air Fry, Bake, Roast, Dehydrate, and Broil, but I’ll be Grilling for awhile.
I can tell you right now, it seems to be built much more solid & sturdy than the “Air Fryer #360”.
So I’m going to start with a T-Bone, and I’ll use the Internal Temp Probe (Smart) on this one.
I’ll set it for Grill, #6, at 126°, insert the probe & put it on the Grill, and close the lid. (The word "BEEF" lights up)
It first goes into a Pre-heat for about 10 minutes. The Words "ADD FOOD” Lights up, when it's done preheating.
Then after awhile big lettered words come up, saying “FLIP FOOD”, so I flipped it @ 108° IT.
Then it went up to 126° IT, before it said “REST”.
So I took it out & plated it with the probe still in it, until it said “END”.
The IT was at 140° when it said "DONE", so it carried over 14° while at rest for 5 minutes.
It was exactly the way we both like our Steak, and we added Baked Taters & Green Beans.
Then the next night I cut up the remaining Leftover Steak & heated it up, along with Re-fried Baked Taters, And some leftover Green Beans.
Mrs Bear made Us a Raspberry Crumb Pie for Dessert, which was excellent.
That’s about it,
Bear
