T-Bone Grilled on New “Ninja “Toy

I got this Toy for Christmas—It’s The “Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill”.
The controls are a little confusing, because you can Grill with a Probe “Smart”, or without a probe.
With or without the Probe calls for different settings & readings, so Bear with me for awhile.
You can also Air Fry, Bake, Roast, Dehydrate, and Broil, but I’ll be Grilling for awhile.
I can tell you right now, it seems to be built much more solid & sturdy than the “Air Fryer #360”.

So I’m going to start with a T-Bone, and I’ll use the Internal Temp Probe (Smart) on this one.
I’ll set it for Grill, #6, at 126°, insert the probe & put it on the Grill, and close the lid. (The word "BEEF" lights up)
It first goes into a Pre-heat for about 10 minutes. The Words "ADD FOOD” Lights up, when it's done preheating.
Then after awhile big lettered words come up, saying “FLIP FOOD”, so I flipped it @ 108° IT.
Then it went up to 126° IT, before it said “REST”.
So I took it out & plated it with the probe still in it, until it said “END”.

The IT was at 140° when it said "DONE", so it carried over 14° while at rest for 5 minutes.
It was exactly the way we both like our Steak, and we added Baked Taters & Green Beans.

Then the next night I cut up the remaining Leftover Steak & heated it up, along with Re-fried Baked Taters, And some leftover Green Beans.

Mrs Bear made Us a Raspberry Crumb Pie for Dessert, which was excellent.

That’s about it,

Bear

That steak looks perfect . I need a steak supper now !
You gonna get fat eating all them deserts
That's why I eat all my deserts for breakfast . Gives me the option to burn them off . If I get up and do something .

Cool "toy"!
I'm in the same boat as gary s. No new cooking stuff without getting rid of something....
Looks interesting, though.
If it air fries I guess I could lose the air fryer. Hm...

Wow new toy and you've already got it mastered!
That steak looks cooked to perfection Bear.

Nice steak done to my liking. Never seen one of those toys looks interesting.
I would have to take me a slice of bread and mop the juice's off that plate.

Bear ,Please quit showing off your toys, it gets me in trouble with the wife when I go out and buy them! Nice steak and pie!

Darn, I must have missed the invitation. That pie is the way they used to make them. Beautiful dinner, thank you for sharing.

Cool toy and great looking plate! Was surprised at how pink it was at 140, but looked really good!

Nice job!

Congrats on the new toy, Bear. Looks interesting, but I'm in the same boat as the others, no more cooking toys until we make more room. Make more room means get rid of something. That steak looks perfectly cooked , juicy and delicious. Does it have a grilled flavor similar to an outdoor grill? And another great looking Pie! Great work.
