I had that one for a few years. Worked great until I lost the tip in a move. I picked up the Grill Beast for $19 off amazon. Two needles, all Stainless Steel and spare seals. Does a great job and will out last my life time...JJ

I have a couple of those, they are good for small pieces of meat, because the needle is narrow. I also have a meat pump I bought from the sausagemaker. It's really good for butts & brisket. Pumps a lot of marinade thru a bout 12 holes in the needle.

Nice, Dave...for 88 cents, don't see how you could go wrong.  I don't inject too often, plus I'm a cheap@##.  That looks like it's right in my wheelhouse.  I'll be checking for one of these in my local WM next time in in there.

Red, morning.....  I found them in the meat section....   They have a wire stretched over the freezing case where they have chicken parts, ducks, game hens, burger patties... etc...    they were hanging on the wire....

I like that price! It would be good for hocks and chicken parts for sure.

I am a big fan of creole butter with different flavors. the kind i buy (from WM sometimes or Foodlion) comes with a cheap syringe. I can use it and put it in the dishwasher and it has me covered. i buy several bottles of creole butter that i always have a syringe lying around. you cant go wrong with 88 cents but for those of you who want to find a cheapy and dont like WM or cant find that one try a bottle of creole butter. Now if i injected a lot (which i don't)  i would more than likely go with Chef JJ's suggestion.

I have the Grill Beast injector too, its a high quality injector. It'll definitely last a lifetime or two!

My only comment to this is of all the syringe body's, my first were heavy plastic and did a fine job until one day i had this brilliant plan....inject melted butter and spices into a turkey prior to the deep fryer. I screwed the tip in , filled it with the butter mix and started injecting.... WHO would have thought the screw tip (on the body) would expand enough to spit the tip out (did I mention the plunger under full pressure??) . There were three results, only one good one...melted butter & spices all over the Mrs. brand new cabinets, granite and walls

(Oh did I say all the company was due within the hour?) hence the mad cleaning part, what a mess. The good part is now all my syringes are GLASS bodied..Just my Circus once again. If it is going to happen it will find me (you have to love consistency)

. I still wonder why she keeps me..40 years. it must be for entertainment, another story to laugh about at a Later Date of course.
