Jeanie, your crab legs must wanna take a dip...one's gettin' ready for the plunge into the butter!

That's one incredible smoke! UR a seriously creative cook!

Thanks for sharing!

Eric

Looks great Jeanie. Do you like the legs better steamed or smoked?

Very nice meal Jeanie

Good call with smoking the steaks first then searing. Thanks for awakening my appetite again.

Thank you Eric, Brian and Tom!

Brian, I definately like them better on the drum.

That does look very good, which I'm sure it was, how long did you apply smoke to the steaks before searing them ??

Hi 9man!
It was about 40 to 45 minutes. I turned them over once during the smoke too. The legs smoked for around 30 minutes. I just checked the legs by feel. when they are hot, they were ready. :)
Hope this helps.. Next time I'm going to pay closer attention to the times. lol

Thanks cowgirl for the advice, my wife and I love crab legs and ribeye's are my favorite steak also, I'm definitely going to give that a try, I love your explanation on how to tell when the legs are ready, that's pretty good :)
