I am not much for bbq beans (now refried is another story) and I'm the only person in the house who likes tater salad, but my pasta salad runs out every time. I usually double this recipe and 3 people finish it in 2 days.
1lb pasta, cooked to al dente or actually a little less than al dente
1/2 lb chopped cooked bacon. Extra points if you cook it on your smoker :)
1/3 cup paremesan
Tsp parsley flake
Dash onion powder
Black pepper to taste
Enough mayo and ranch dressing to make creamy. I start light and add more after it soaks up a little.
Warning- parmesan and bacon are salty, so i go very light on the salt in my pasta water.
This is best if it can refrigerate for a couple hours before serving
