I had a go at some beef back ribs yesterday. My oven broke, waiting on my new igniter so this is a perfect time to smoke. I picked up a 3 bone in tact back and also 3 bone separated. Slim pickings and they weren't the meatiest. But they sure tasted amazing.

Prepped them with dijon mustard and Montreal steak seasoning. I smoked them for 3hrs 240-250 with Hickory and a bit of apple left in the hopper.

Crutched them for about 1 hr 45 min in a bit of beef broth. I was worried i over did it because they were almost coming off the bone. I carefully set them back in the smokeer for another 45 minutes and then off to rest for 30. They were delicious! Great flavor and moisture. Next time I do these I'll spend some more on a better cut. For a fast and easy Sunday smoke, the whole family was satisfied.

Those ribs look mighty scrumptious from my screen.

Point for sure.
