Storing for future gifting

Good morning

What do you recommend for the best storage options for future gifting of ground jerk and whole muscle jerky?

Im planning to give out some jerky around the holidays, and if I get a head start in the next week or so, curious for best keeping for up to a couple of weeks before gifting.

Vac seal, freeze, and then thaw out before gifting?

I think vac sealing & just refrigerating would be fine as long as you used cure#1.

From what I’ve read if vacuumed and cured it’s up to 3 months lot of people who make jerky just use those moisture packets and bags.

Good evening. I’m circling back to this thread to see if there are any other thoughts on this topic.

I may do some jerky up this weekend, and it would not be handed out until right before Christmas. Is the general consensus that vac sealed in a fridge would be fine before gifting? Or is freezing needed, and then thaw before gifting?

If I make this weekend, looks like around 1.5 weeks before giving out.
