Steak
Temp: 2 zone cooking 700+ degF
Dry brine: kosher salt a few hours prior to grilling
Rub: oil and 5 tsp pepper, 3 tsp onion powder, 3 tsp garlic powder, 3 tsp dried crushed parsley, 1 tsp chili powder.
After grilling I topped with a garlic Parmesan spread and butter
Thoughts: They were good but I might cut back on the black pepper a little to suit my own personal taste.
Shrimp
Temp: 2 zone 400 deg F
Rub: oil and McCormick garlic and herb
After grilling I topped with butter.
Thoughts: They were perfect! The rub is perfect on poultry seafood and probably veggies too.
My wife also made up 3 low carb sides and low carb ice cream too but forgot to take pics.
