Ok, so, I've purchased some steak tips from the local grocery store, already marinated. I'm wanting to put them on the smoker just to check it out. I'm presuming that just monitoring the temp to be around 135F for a medium rare-ish temp should be fine.

Is there anything I need to watch out for?

Kurt

Steak tips could be trims off of any cut.o_OCheck for tenderness with a toothpick at 135* like you said and you may have to cook longer/to a higher temp...

You need to watch out for me sneaking some off your grill when you are not looking! B

I would throw them in a cast iron skillet and let them ride there til a little chare formed then yankem off.dont want none fLling between the rails lol

Ok, so, no char, but here's a little AFTER Qview... Smoked to a temp of 135F
