Best I have seen in MN so far is at Target and that is still at $8.99/lb. I bought two of them. Just to have the heating element go out in the oven last night. F**K my life, I just want a roast on Christmas lol.

Picked up a freezer on black Friday sale to take advantage of these sales
I'll do some shopping this weekend.

Never saw good sales in MN either.
Oven elements are so easy to replace. 2 screws to remove the element and spade connectors.
Turn off the breaker! 1 side is always hot until the breaker is turned off on older units. I'm not sure if the newer stuff finally changed things.

I have a service plan that covers appliances including the oven. Guy should be there in about 10 minutes to look at it and hopefully fix it. Momma would be very happy to get a roast going!

Scored this 8.5lber (bone in) for 5.47/lb at Fred Meyer (Kroger) yesterday……that’s 46 bills……. Had to buy 50 in other stuff but that wasn’t hard to do…..

We weren’t planning on another Rib Roast in the menu but couldn’t pass it up. It’s been sitting in the fridge all salted and seasoned up to dry bring till tomorrow afternoon!!!

Then again if the oven isn't working she HAS to key me try it on the Pit Boss. I tried one in the MES40 years ago but she didn't like that the crust wasn't crispy. I think I could on the PB.

I normally pick through the meat case and find one that has better marbling. The packers are mass producing non graded meat that ranges from choice to prime.
The grocers are wanting to get beef in the case for the clients that don't eat pork (ham) during the December and spring holiday seasons.
I wish brisket took the same holiday dip in prices.

This is how I get all my meat.....if it doesn't look good it doesn't come home.....

I'm going back tomorrow for more standing rib roasts but this time wife is going with me so we can both get 2. Getting them all cut into steaks already have one or two in the freezer as roasts now. Gonna see if they have the pork standing rib roast this time they didn't have any the other day

So I went this morning to Winn Dixie... They were all out... Including at the warehouse... Ended up at Publix... They said they would not price match Winn Dixie... so I didn't get a whole one... Haven't done anything with it yet ...

We don't have any Winn Dixies around us anymore they have closed them and are remodeling and making them Aldi's would have thought they would keep one or two open while doing the other ones but they closed them all in about a 50 mile radius of us. Closed in GA and FL.
Ryan they have whole tenderloins for less than 16 bucks a lb
