If I use one its usually 3 parts apple juice to 1 part Captain Morgans spiced rum.
 
Now I use a mixture of apple juice and apple cyder vinegar.
 
I don't bother spritzing anything, every time you open the door you add more time to the total cook time. Haven't noticed any difference in the final product.
 
just apple juice and only right before I wrap. I agree with a few others here. Don't like to lose the heat.
