One of the great things about NM is you can start hiking in 40 degree temps in the morning (before dawn), hike up a mountain, sled down on snow, and hike back to your starting point which, at this time of the day, (noonish) it is around 90 degrees. There is nothing like having a snowball fight in August while in shorts and a short-sleeved shirt.

That pic was from this morning. I didn't notice that the date was off.

Thanks Gros Cochon, it turned out nice. We enjoy it, but not so much today.

Sun is shining now. Most should be gone today I hope. Temp. right now is

35 degrees. Smoking shrimp later today. Sure am glad I brought that MES 30

home from that trip.

Happy smoking,

   Big AL

Well at 9000' I bet you get a lot of weather changes all year long. What a great looking place you have.
