Wanted to check in with some of the more experienced griddle guys before I season my Blackstone. I just put it together and the griddle has these spots on it. I’m not too concerned it almost looks like water spots or something I just wanted to double check it’s hitting to reach out to Blackstone about. What do you guys and gals think

Agree . Has a pattern to it . Look underneath the top and see if there are gussets in that area .

Thanks everyone. Got it seasoned and ready for some smash burgers tonight
Yup, i was gonna say, just burn it in and start griddlin. All 3 of my Blackstones showed these spots. Its from the welds underneath the top. Burn it in and forget about it, it ain`t gonna hurt a thing.

live it. A lot better than my last Camp Chef FTG. I feel like the surface of the griddle is a lot smoother and my CC would be uneven when it would heat up and drive me nuts. Love the e rear grease trap way more than the CC set up (which was the reason I bought the CC) but that was a pain to clean. Food goes quick once I start so I’ve been struggling to snap pictures haha
