I use mine for most everything from scraping up smashburgers, flipping a few steak fries that my spatula missed to my final clean up of anything stuck to or burnt on to the griddle surface like a little soy sauce from stir fry that gets too hot against the surface. After you get it well seasoned you can scrape it down to your black seasoning clean without the blade damaging the surface. I then wipe it clean with a folded paper towel on the sharp edge to leave just a very little layer of oil on it adding a little peanut oil if needed, just enough to tell it is wet. My original seasoning was peanut oil. Now it is a burnt on layer of everything I have cooked since, from burger grease, butter, to bacon grease. Anything I have cooked, scraped off wiped down to a very thin coat and heated till it smoked off a little before my next cook. Seems some use water to clean with. I have not found that useful. Best to cook on it as often as you can and see what works for you. I have a pair of inexpensive Harbor Freight long cuff welder gloves dedicated for cooking stuff that come in handy for comfort at times, smashing burgers and clean up. Ha Ha Enjoy.

I take my "stuff" spatulas, scraper, burger press, squeeze bottle of oil, roll of paper towels, welders gloves, infrared temp sensor, etc what ever I might need for what I am cooking, small metal bowls of what ever I have chopped up, butter etc. salt pepper, seasonings for cooking out to the deck on cookie sheets. I quickly do my grill scraping and oiling as soon as I am finished cooking while the grill is still hot, then take my trays with dirty stuff into the house. I just hand wash them and most everything I have used after the meal. Just takes me a few min.

Yes, don't forget the paper towels. And 15" of chain to keep the wind from blowing them away. (I've mounted a horizontal bar underneath to hold the roll)
